Travelers Notebook Line Guide printables now available

I don’t use my travellers notebook as a planner.  Maybe one day, but right now it suits me just fine for random notes/ideas and memory keeping.

One technique I occasionally use in my memory keeping notebook is to enlarge a photo to take up the whole page.  It’s eye-catching for sure!

For this page I grabbed a photo that I thought would work well with a lot of white space at the top.  The original photo didn’t have nearly that much empty space on the top portion but I quickly extended that with the free transform tool in Photoshop.

I trimmed it to size and glued it right into my notebook.

At this point I fell in love with this spread just as it was.  But I did want to add a little something.

I grabbed a glitter die-cut from Crate Paper’s Bloom collection and went back and forth on whether or not I wanted to use it on the page on the left or on the photo itself.

Because I didn’t have a lot of journaling to add I decided it should help balance out the left page.

Some journaling added below it and it’s complete.

Obviously I fall into the “less is more” camp.  A page filled with patterned paper and embellishments would be just as nice… but a simple approach focusing on photos and words is always a winner in my book.
