Travelers Notebook Line Guide printables now available

Most of the time I bring out the bare bones when I'm planning.  Just the essentials. My goal is to balance my day, complete my tasks in the allotted time and then to fill the rest of my day loving on my family and being intentional with the time left in the day.  While I love decorated planners that's just not how a normal day works for me.

So, here's a list of my basic supplies for planning.

1. PLANNER // of course this would be the Classic Planner.  Normally I'm a "daily" girl... especially with my days filled with homeschooling and running a business. But every now and then I love to see my week at a glance and the Weekly Classic Planner is perfect for that.

Right now my "focus boxes" and vertical lists are filled with yard chores and house to-do's.  No big surprise there.

2. PENS // My favorite pen for making lists in my planner is the black LePen.  I can't pinpoint why I love it so much.  It's just a great planner pen... not too thick and just plain cute!  When I want to handwrite (sometimes I add in a little journaling or a random quote that one of my kids said) then I use a Pilot HiTecC refill in my Ateleia brass pen.

3. MUTED HIGHLIGHTERS // I use a series of muted highlighters from Mildliner to color code my planner.  I use grey for work (seriously... a grey highlighter!!  Totally rocked my world!), gold for me, mild vermilion for the kids, green for bills and mild blue-green for collaborations.  It took a while for me to find the perfect colors (I'm far too picky about stuff like that) but now that I have a keep a set in the office and another in the kitchen... for all those planner emergencies and things that come up.

On a daily basis these three items keep me on track and focused... and I couldn't ask for more than that.
